This month we’re watching Leave Her to Heaven (1945), a psychological thriller that blends film noir and melodrama, starring Gene Tierney, Cornel Wilde, Jeanne Crain, and Vincent Price. The story centers on a woman whose obsessive love for her husband drives her to manipulation and murder. The film features striking cinematography, winning the Academy Award for best cinematography for Leon Shamroy . In 2018, it was selected for the United States National Film Registry by the Library of Congress as being "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant"
