Intermediate Classical Latin

Class meets in person Saturday mornings from 11 a.m. to noon. 

The study of Latin exercises memory, increases English vocabulary, and broadens general knowledge. Using a well-known high school Latin II textbook, participants will increase their Latin vocabulary, English vocabulary derived from Latin, Latin and English grammar, and translation skills. They will expand their knowledge of ancient Roman geography, history, daily life, and mythology. Latin mottoes used in English will be featured on a regular basis. Textbooks will be available to borrow.

Advanced Latin meets Wednesdays from 2-3 on Zoom.
