Homeschool Meetup - Fossils with the Denison Nature Center

A meetup for homeschool families to socialize and share resources. Every month we will learn about a new topic, do an educational activity, and learn about some of the services the library provides. All ages are welcome, but activities are designed for kids in grades K-4. Sponsored by the Friends of the Blackstone Library.

This month, we will have a special guest presenter! The Denison Pequotsepos Nature Center will be teaching us all about fossils! Fossils have a long story to tell! Take a first-hand look at real fossils, find out how fossils are made, and learn what they can tell us about the past. You’ll also have a chance to make your own “fossil” to bring home!
