Have fun creating your own simple solar oven and then enjoy marshmallows that are melted with just the power of the sun's energy. Facilitated by a former teacher, now an employee with PosiGen, Sarah Bransfield, who is donating all of the materials, and Branford's artist/retired scientist, Peter Graves.

Recommended for ages 8-12.

Registration is required for this event, as space is limited.

Sun Shines on Branford is an all-ages festival with activities taking place near Branford Town Green, at Blackstone Memorial Library, and throughout the town. This event will focus on solar energy and opportunities for sustainable and renewable resources that abound in Branford, Connecticut. All activities are free!
