The cost of long-term care is on the rise. Proper planning can determine the amount of care an individual needs & how to pay for it while protecting their legacy! Presented by Shoreline Elder Care Alliance in conjunction with Drazen Law.
About our speaker, Steven L. Rubin
Attorney Rubin was born in New Haven and graduated from Cheshire High and the University of Connecticut. He later attended Widener University School of Law in Pennsylvania. While Steve was in law school, his mother was diagnosed with ALS, commonly known as Lou Gehrig's Disease, and given less than six months to live. He was thrust into a number of roles that his clients often find themselves in - caregiver, advocate, provider and concerned loved one. Seeing how his mother's belief that her son could make a difference had helped her live almost three years, his own passion for the law increased. Today he helps his clients deal with tough issues such as death, incapacity, disability, special needs, social security, asset protection, neurodiversity, and taxes, and provides assistance in the best and least stressful way possible.
Registration is encouraged to attend this IN PERSON event, but drop-ins welcome!
