Join author, historian, producer & pizza guru Colin M. Caplan on a journey into Branford and New Haven pizza history!  This hour-long presentation features how, when, who and why pizza made it big here. This trip to the past will be followed by a Q&A with Mr. Caplan as well as a book sale and signing for his book, Pizza in New Haven. Come early for a free tasting of some of Branford's best apizza! Supplies are limited. Slices are first come, first served.

About Colin M. Caplan
Colin M. Caplan is an entrepreneur, architect, author, historian, educator and tour operator running Taste of New Haven food tours and events, Elm City Party Bike and Pedal Cruise boats. He has authored six books on New Haven history including his latest, Pizza in New Haven. Caplan is also a film and media producer including the documentary Pizza, a love story and The Pizza Show. He continues to help build and raise his native Elm City through teaching students, researching & writing history and providing opportunities to communities, businesses and residents through grants and events.
