Founded in 1980, each year, The Connecticut Gilbert & Sullivan Society performs one of Gilbert & Sullivan's comic operettas. This October 19th and 20th, they will be performing The Yeomen of the Guard. The production will take place in Deep River and will be fully staged with sets, costumes, and a 24-piece professional orchestra.

But you need not wait until then to hear some great music. On August 17th, 2:00PM, at the Blackstone Memorial Library, cast members from The Connecticut Gilbert & Sullivan Society will be performing a showcase of music from Gilbert & Sullivan shows. You will get to hear some favorites from their past productions along with songs from the upcoming October production. Open to all, this event is free, and one you will not want to miss.
