Program Description

Event Details

Join us for a concert celebrating the music of the jazz great Bill Evans! He is best known for his work with Miles Davis, and in 1959 they recorded the album Kind of Blue which many would regard as one the most successful jazz albums of all time. Widely regarded as one of the most influential jazz pianists, Bill Evans’ work set the bar for all future jazz pianists. The Shoreline Jazz Quintet will play a number of his original compositions such as Waltz for Debbie, Very Early and Turnout the Stars to name a few, as well as some tunes which he did not compose, but nevertheless made famous through his albums such as My Romance and Some Other Time.

Registration is required to attend this IN PERSON event.
