Joseph King Art Show

A Blackstone Artists Circle Gallery Reception. This artist’s work will be on display in the upper rotunda gallery for March & April.

Joe King has been creating photomosaics for over 20 years. While mosaics have been around for over 6,000 years, photomosaics add digital tools to this ancient process by arranging 1,000s of miniaturized photos to create a single, large image. This exhibit creates a series of photomosaic Guitars, including the iconic guitars of Jimi Hendrix, Eddie Van Halen, Keith Richards, the Gibson Les Paul and the simple Acoustic Guitar.  Over 10,000 photos were taken and used to create this exhibit. Stop by the top floor rotunda anytime the library is open to see this unique exhibit.
