Join author and Producing Artistic Director Rebecca Goodheart in four fascinating discussions about how the world looked to Shakespeare and his audience and how that worldview shaped the plays. Each evening will look through a different lens at Shakespeare’s world, accompanied by mini-performances of Shakespeare’s poetry and lively discussion about their meaning today.

Part I : The Cosmos – What filled the heavens in 1600? How does a spherical model with humanity at its center affect plays like Antony & Cleopatra, King John, or Romeo & Juliet? What is the music of the spheres, and can we hear it today?
