Program Description

Event Details

The Branford Forum is a community organization that brings nationally renowned figures to the Shoreline. This month's topic is The Changing World of Water.

There are very few things we cannot live without; water is one of them. We take it for granted when we it comes out of our faucet or flushes our toilets.

  • What will we do when the well dries up?
  • Too much water and no water – what happens when it floods.
  • Will technology save us?

Dr. Iris Kaminski, PhD from the New Haven Environmental Advisory Council and the Yale School of Public Health, will give an overall view of global water resources as well as a local perspective. How are we doing and what will be the impact on our water supply if climate change goes unabated?

Registration is recommended to attend this IN PERSON event.
