Event Details

Explore the world of birds! What do their features—beak, feet, and feathers—tell us about their lives? Together, we will investigate the salt marsh sparrow and its habitat. Join Steward Outdoor Day School for a hands-on STEAM experience that blends science, nature, and art. 

  • Activities include: 
    Explore What makes a bird a bird?
    Investigate Field markings, behavior, and habitat of the salt marsh sparrow. 
    Design together we will each draw a sparrow.
